Pecha Kucha

When we first started the Pecha Kucha projects I was a bit nervous because I had never really explored a specific space before. I mean I've done searches on the history of a place but I've never analyzed why a place is where it is, and its surroundings. After watching some Pecha Kucha presentations, I figured this would be something simple to do, because I knew I wanted to explore Schoen Place. Well I was wrong because I couldn't find any historical information on Schoen Place. I even called the historical society and they couldn't help me. Eventually I went to the Pittsford Library and ended up finding gold. One main thing that I learned in this project is how much specific spaces have meaning to a community and specific people. I really liked using imovie because that was something I thought I would struggle with but I didn't.
