The journal was to be a compilation of student’s research paper that we think deserved to be published. It all started when Nicole (my co-editor) and I sent out e-mails to students asking them if they have work they feel should be published. Once students sent us their work, we would go through the research papers, read them through, and then decide which ten papers were the best and deserved to be published.
When we had that decided we had to go each paper and edit and re-edit. Once that was done we had to compile them all to fit into a journal format. We couldn’t just put one paper after another. It took hours and hours of changing fonts making sure that everything fit onto the page appropriately. We did have an advisor that oversaw our work but we were in charge of everything, even getting the journal to the printer to be published. Eventually our hard work paid off.
